Terms of Service

Terms of Service for AquaDash Plumbing: quotes, booking, payment, workmanship guarantee and your rights. Plumbing services across Greater Manchester.

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern the use of the AquaDash Plumbing website and the plumbing services we provide across Manchester and Greater Manchester. By requesting a quote, booking an appointment or instructing us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

AquaDash Plumbing provides general plumbing, emergency plumbing, pipe repair, water heater and boiler repair, toilet repair and installation, drain and sink unblocking, tap and shower repair, garden tap installation, electric shower installation, Saniflo macerator installation, bathroom refurbishment and outdoor drainage services. Availability of any given service depends on your location and on engineer availability at the time of booking.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation. Any quote given over the telephone or by email is an estimate based on the information you supply and may be revised once our engineer has inspected the work in person. We will always confirm the final price with you before beginning chargeable work. Additional parts, materials or labour required beyond the original scope will be discussed and agreed with you first.

4. Booking and Cancellation

Appointments can be booked by telephone, email or through the booking form on this website. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out charge where an engineer has already been dispatched.

5. Emergency Call-Outs

Our 24/7 emergency service operates 365 days a year. We aim to respond as quickly as possible, but response times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on traffic, weather, engineer availability and the volume of emergency calls at the time.

6. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods confirmed at the time of booking. Invoices not settled by the due date may be subject to interest in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where the customer is a business.

7. Guarantee and Workmanship

Our workmanship is guaranteed. If a fault arises from work we have carried out, contact us and we will return to inspect and put it right at no cost to you. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by third parties, misuse, freezing conditions, pre-existing faults elsewhere in the system, or parts supplied by the customer.

8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and to the area where work is required, to inform us of any known hazards such as asbestos or unsafe wiring, and to ensure that you have the authority to instruct work at the property. Where you are a tenant, permission from the property owner may be required.

9. Liability

We hold public liability insurance. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, for damage arising from the condition of a system we were not instructed to work on, or for indirect losses such as loss of income. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Your Right to Cancel

Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed off-premises or at a distance, you have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you asked us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for work already carried out. This right does not affect emergency call-outs you have expressly requested to be carried out immediately.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at contact@aquadashplumbing.com or call 07871 003404. We will acknowledge your complaint and work with you to resolve it promptly.

12. Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of what we collect and how it is used.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
